About me

William focuses on general business litigation and intellectual property matters. He has litigated cases such as contested dissolution of corporations, and he has both brought and defended against trademark and copyright infringement lawsuits. He has defended his small business clients from lawsuits brought by former employees under the Fair Labor Standards Act and the New York Labor Laws, as well as suing to collect monies owed to his clients for breach of contract. Prior to joining Jakubowitz & Chuang LLP, he worked in the litigation group of a large general practice firm.

William graduated magna cum laude from New York University with a B.A. in biochemistry and economics and earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2006. He is admitted to both the New York State Bar Association and the New York County Bar Association, as well as the bars of the federal courts in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is a member of the New York County Lawyers Association and the New York State Bar Association.

William is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. He enjoys hiking in his spare time. He is a board member of and legal advisor to the Holly Civic Association, and a member of the Kissena Park Conservancy.
