I have known Todd for many years. I recently had a case with him. He fought very hard to get his client what he wanted. Fortunately we were able to reach an amicable settlement. He fights hard but he knows how to settle a case.

I have worked with Spodek Law Group, specifically Todd and Lidia for the past two years. They jointly handled my divorce/criminal case. I only have good things to say about the firm. They are highly knowledgeable, professional and responsive. The office stays on top of every detail and helped me have realistic expectations regarding all of the various issues in my case.
As anyone going through a divorce knows, it is hourly and the fees add up quickly. Not to mention the court costs and transcripts, etc. The hourly fee here is significantly lower then most firms for partner level work. Plus it is a flat fee for court appearances/trial, I felt this is a much fairer approach.
As the situation appeared to get more complex we all sat down to discuss the appropriate next steps. The issue in my case was that we both had significantly high incomes, so we were both paying our own attorneys fees. We discussed that ultimately every decision we made had to take into consideration the attorneys fees, time and emotional commitment on my end. I appreciated that the firm was not just billing endlessly and actually had a result oriented approach.
Divorces suck, paying lawyers suck. Paying lawyers a lot of money and being forced by a Judge to pay part of your pension sucks. Seeing your ex with a new younger version sucks. Find a lawyer who is fair and will help you resolve the divorce as soon as possible and save you money.

If you recieve a target letter from HRA medicaid fraud investigators as i did, Todd and his staff are the ones you want to represent yo, so look no further. He is very experienced in this area and he will get you the best possible outcome. In my case I was fully exhonerated. Todd told me it would take about 3 months but it actually took about 4 months. Todd will answer all of your questions at any time of the day or night. If you contact Todd and you don't hear back from him quickly don't despair, he will contact you. He is a very busy person but busy is good, it means experience and that's just what you want and will need when dealng with HRA being accused of medicaid fraud. DON'T TRY TO DEAL WITH THE INVESTIGATORS ON YOUR OWN! You don't know how you may implicate yourself beyond help. Todd's fee is fair and believe me, it's money well spent! I had many sleepless nights during the 4 month investigation and much anxiety. Todd would always answer my calls and messages and helped me get a good night sleep on more than a few occasions. I got the good news today from Todd and his wonderful assistant Shantal. These people really care about you and your case. Hire Todd and you will be in the best hands possible. Todd will tell you what to expect during the investigation and tells you like it is. He doesn't sugar coat anything. you will get straight answers from him. Again, If you recieve a target letter from HRA about medicaid fraud, look no further and hire Todd and his firm. Also, go on youtube and watch Todd's video's . They are very informative and will answer many of your concerns. You will find no one better or more experienced in this area of law, Todd really knows the in's and out's of how these investigations work. THANKYOU TODD, ALBERT B

Todd and Lidia took over my divorce from a local lawyer. It was an all boys club and they were nothing but honest and laser focused on the results I wanted. An outside perspective was helpful and beneficial. I paid a fraction of what I would pay "Madison avenue" firms and highly recommend them to anyone going through a divorce.

My parents recently moved to Florida and had received a letter from Human Resources Administration regarding benefits they received when they were residing in Brooklyn, NY. There was an issue with some of the information that my parents put on their application/recertification's and some real estate holdings and rental income that they had at that time. My parents received the letter and almost had a heart attack, we immediately researched Medicaid fraud lawyers in Florida and was recommended to Spodek Law in NY as this was a NY case. We had a consultation over the phone and immediately felt at ease with Todd. He charges a flat fee and answered all of our questions regardless how inconsequential they were. My parents nor I ever had the opportunity to meet with Todd in person but he is honest, straight forward and took care of my parents. He's a nice guy and a mensch and I am happy that I was put in touch with him.

Todd Spodek exhibited a manner with me that one may expect from a dedicated social worker... always kind and considerate with an obvious devotion to his work. I had contacted him as I had received a target letter from HRA last June, the whole situation took 4 months to resolve and conclude (favorably for me), and during this time Todd was always available by text with a follow up phone call, in which I was aways made to feel I was a special client. This company is so very experienced with matters of this type, and have many cases going on at the same time with the HRA office, but I was never made to feel that I was just one of the crowd. I also had 3 one on one meetings with him which were never rushed, and I always left his office with a sense of well-being, feeling safe and nurtured as a client. His colleagues are cut from the same cloth as him, and they all work together as a team to create an environment of laid back efficiency which is wonderful and reassuring for clients to feel.
I heartily recommend Todd Spodek and The Spodek Law Group, and consider it my very good fortune that I contacted this office last June!

Represent me and my husband throughout the investigation. Very fair, took time to explain the process and the likely results. Interviewed a few lawyers and happy I chose Todd. Most lawyers immediately tried to scare us that we were going to be charged criminally whereas Todd pulled up all of the active cases in their system and showed how a very small % who recieve target letters actually get prosecuted. Todd said the case would take 3 month's and took more then 5 though.

The firm has a team that handles medicaid and food stamp fraud investigations in n NYS. Once hired they immediately canceled the scheduled meeting with the investigator and faxes over a letter of representation, next a claim detail report was uploaded to their online client portal system. I uploaded my tax returns, paystubs, mortgage statement and information about some real estate I have an interest in. Next I received a memo detailing the issues and what the recommended course of action was. The work on the case was transparent, and very detailed. The process took four months and ultimately I settled both cases with a payment plan and obtained a full written release and I never made any admission of guilt or liability.
