Alfred R Scerni Jr

Mr. Scerni has more than 25 years experience representing the interests of public- and private-sector clients in the areas of state and local government law, real estate, land use and redevelopment.

During his legal career, Mr. Scerni has served as solicitor and/or special counsel to more than a dozen municipalities and zoning and planning boards throughoutNew Jersey. He presently serves as solicitor in the City ofPleasantvilleand the City ofEstell Manor, and as redevelopment attorney in the City of Egg Harbor. Mr. Scerni also serves as General Counsel to the Aviation Research and Technology Park Corporation which is responsible for the development of theNextGenResearchParkof the Federal Aviation Administration inEggHarborTownship.

Mr. Scerni isChairman of the Atlantic City Convention Center Authority. Hehas held a number of state-appointed positions, including special counsel to the Atlantic City Convention and Visitors Authority and general counsel to the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority. Mr. Scerni is also a former member of the New Jersey General Assembly.

Priorto joining Parker McCay, Mr. Scerni was in private practice inAtlanticCounty for over 25 years.
