In service to the legal profession and the community, I have served on the District Ethics Committee for Sussex and Morris Counties. I have assisted those facing bankruptcy and foreclosure with pro bono legal assistance. As a volunteer election monitor I have helped safeguard our fellow citizens’ right to vote.
I received my Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Rutgers University School of Law-Newark, where I served as Co-Chair of the Moot Court Board, and was awarded the Bureau of National Affairs Prize in Labor and Employment Law. I then served as Judicial Clerk to the Hon. Dorothea Wefing (ret.) of the Appellate Division, later temporarily assigned to the New Jersey Supreme Court. I also hold a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Political Science from Fordham University. I received my Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Georgetown University, Washington, D.C., majoring in History. I am licensed to practice in New Jersey and New York.
