I hired this firm, Keefe Bartels. Sullivan was assigned to me after this firm switched lawyers on me 3 times. They refused to communicate, and did not contact me as promised. The day of trial I was refused a jury trial I was promised. The day of trial he told me he would not use my witness and said "You know your witness and the judge will look unfavorably on him." This of course makes no sense. Without a witness I could not win my case. Evidence was not presented since Sullivan lost my witness evidence and evidence relating to my valuations. The judge said the Court could not award damages since Sullivan did not include bailment. I lost over $100,000 in property. They charged me $57,000 for a $7,500 judgment vacated. Now they are suing me!
Mr. Sullivan was very competent and thorough in pursuing a case of Wrongful Death in the case of my brother, Frank Curto who was a patient at the Briarwood Care Facility when he passed away on January 24, 2010 after being neglected by the staff while he cried out repeatedly for help. He was 62 and mentally and physically disabled, totally dependent on the staff.
We are very pleased with Mr. Sullivan and recommend him highly. He kept us informed and up to date, answered our questions and returned our calls. He addressed any concerns we had. We felt we were in great hands with Mr. Sullivan and trusted him completely. We would absolutely contact him if we needed his services again. We feel he cared about our situation and was kind and genuinely interested in how we were doing. We recommend Mr. Sullivan's services without hesitation.
