He has appeared in immigration courts across the United States, including New Jersey, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Texas. He regularly counsels immigration clients on issues relating to asylum, cancellation of removal, nonimmigrant visas (including H-1B visas), family-based immigrant visas, and naturalization, among other topics. He serves the NJSBA YLD through its Executive Committee as a voting representative for Essex County. He is a former Fellow to the Law Practice Management Section of the American Bar Association, and LPM’s current Vice-Chair of Member Development. As a former solo practitioner, Michael writes frequently regarding law practice management issues and has been published in several sources.

He is a member of the New Jersey and New York bars and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
