I endorse this lawyer. I was very impressed with both Sean's knowledge of the law and his approach to the practice of law. Sean is very personable and takes the time to know his clients and truly understand his clients' legal concerns. Due to his diligence, knowledge and genuine concern for his clients, Sean gets results that are not only favorable, but cost effective as well. I would recommend Sean to anyone who needs legal advice.

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.

  1. Admonition
    issued in NJ, 2014

An admonition means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The Bar gives the lawyer an admonition in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Sean’s comment: “As a law firm owner operator Branigan and Associates has served hundreds of satisfied clients. Accordingly the firm has employed dozens of attorneys litigating complex issues for ten years. Only having one admonition (the lowest disciplinary proclamation) is actually outstanding given the volume this firm has handled. On average 3% of attorneys have a complaint filed against them any given year. Meanwhile Sean Branigan has employed dozens of lawyers and has only had one admonition.”
