I would advise getting a lawyer. The consequences of having a DWI on your record are harsh and long lasting. Just because you blew over it does not mean your guilty. One thing you must do is have your breath samples retested. As for not being able to afford a lawyer, please contact me and we can work something out. Good luck. Nicholas Howie Esq. 603.893.8008

Yes you need an attorney the consequences are far greater than just a license loss. If you can't retain one prior to the 12th plead not guilty and it will allow you more time.

Pursuant to recent CORI reform dismissals like this are not supposed to show up on your CORI. You could seal the record to ensure no one can access it. However the refusal will stay on your RMV record as it doesn't matter that the stop was illegal you still refused the BT.

Yes they will see it. New CORI reform allows for him to get it sealed after 5 years however it will always remain on his driving record and will be considered a 1st offense OUI.

You need to call a lawyer ASAP most lawyers have free consultations and just because you are charged does not mean you'll be found guilty. Just recently I had a situation for client in Quincy District Court we fought to the end and she was found not guilty. Anything can happen but doing it on your own is not the way to go. An anonymous call opens up the door for a potential motion to suppress for an illegal stop. Either way you should retain an attorney and fight this. Nicolas Howie 978.853.0982

This looks like a situation where your someone Who you have an open case involving children has filed a contempt against you and they were issued a capias to bring you in. I suggest you call an attorney right away as they will eventually come and pick you up and you could be held because of the contempt. Nicholas Howie 978.853.0982
