Our client was a pedestrian who had left a bar and grill and was walking back to his car at night. A driver, who claimed he stopped at a stop sign, made a left turn and struck our client, causing significant injuries to our client's knees and aggravating his pre-existing back condition. After successfully settling the case we were able to negotiate a reduction in the health insurer's lien, resulting in a substantial increase in our client's net recovery.
