Question

What are the laws in arizona for sleeping arrangements.

My ex has my three children for weekened visits... she is currently living in a one bedroom apartment with her boyfriend, having the children sleeping out on the floor. Two girls age 11,9.. and my six year old son... what are the laws on this... I don't feel comfortable having them there with her. Thanks

I would agree there are no laws as to the sleeping arrangements but you could request to modify the current parenting plan due to her living arrangements.

There isn't any law specifically applicable. More broadly, however, the family court is constantly tasked with protecting the best interests of the children. Though this sleeping arrangement is not uncommon, it does seem obviously contrary to their best interests and the court may consider modifying the order until she can adequately accommodate the children during her parenting time.
