I got pulled over for a suspected DUI in the state of Maryland. I live in Maryland, but I have a Delaware drivers license. My driving privileges have been suspended in the state of Maryland. I just signed up to get the interlock system installed in my car and plan on going to the Maryland DMV to obtain a Maryland license. Once I receive the Maryland license will the suspension be lifted and my driving privileges restored in all states? Am I doing the right thing? Am I on the right track?
So long as your Delaware license is valid, this sounds like a good plan. You should check with the MVA in Maryland to make sure there will not be any issues before putting the interlock on your car.
