How do a find an attorney to file a Partition? Family needs to sell property, but 2 disagree.

I agree with the previous answer. You can use the find a lawyer tab above to locate a real estate attorney who has worked on a partition case in the past. In my experience once all the parties all see the path toward a fire sale price. With no real benefit they somehow learn to work together, as the is no real defense to partition.

There are many attorneys that will file a partition. When you are looking for an attorney, ask how many partitions they have handled and the results from those cases. Partitions are a very specialized area of the law where experience matters. Once you have done your research, schedule a free consultation.
