Can someone trace my instagram IP address on instagram after deleting the account permanently ?
So I recently made a fake instagram account and contacted my recent ex's ex girlfriend for closure purposes. Anyway she got suspicious and sent the message screenshots to his aunt. I deleted the account permanently but I want to know can they trace the account details and my IP address even though I have deleted my account? I didn't give any threats or anything simply just asked questions regarding her relationship. I look forward to your answer.

Given enough time and money, yes, they could find you. I doubt someone would want to go to this expense.

Obviously, you already to know that this was not a smart thing to do. That aside, an Instagram member cannot trace the IP address that you used to log into Instagram. They could potentially push Instagram to provide it to them but then the would have to go to your ISP to push them to reveal who had that IP address at that time and date. None of this would happen without court orders and a lot of expense. So, it could be done, but almost certainly they do not have the expertise to do so.
