Can a care giver child keep living in house after parent (tenant) goes into nursing home?

We have a life estate deed produced 4 years ago, dad is the tenant me and my sister share the house after dad passes. I am the caregiver to dad since mom passed 4 years ago, dad is looking to go into nursing home soon can I stay in this house as it is my primary home after dad is admitted to nursing home? My sister wants me out but I have no place to go I have a family. Please advise
