I wish I could give zero stars. Our experience with Zulu Ali and his office has been the absolute worst nightmare for my family and me. From the start, he took advantage of our vulnerability, knowing we had limited legal knowledge, and convinced us to pay thousands of dollars for a case he claimed to... be preparing. It turns out, the case he was working on had nothing to do with the situation at hand. Throughout the process, he was extremely disrespectful, unreliable, and unprofessional. His behavior included outright lies, yelling at me to my face, and constantly making excuses for his lack of action. The office itself was incredibly disorganized, and communication was a constant struggle. To make matters worse, Zulu Ali failed to show up for court multiple times, further delaying my Husband case by continuously filing for extensions. It has been several months since we made the decision to fire him, and while the experience was devastating, we are finally moving forward. Thankfully, through our own fight and perseverance, my Husband is now free, and we are determined to expose the misconduct and chaos that take place in Zulu Ali’s office. If you are considering his services, I strongly urge you to read the consistent negative reviews and do your research on the state bar website of prior misconduct. The reviews all highlight similar issues, which cannot be a coincidence. It’s disheartening to see false positive reviews likely written by family or friends to mask the truth. I have connected with others who have also had terrible experiences with Zulu Ali, and their stories mirror ours. Please save yourself the stress, heartache, and financial loss. A public defender would put in more effort and care than this attorney. Zulu Ali should not be allowed to practice law. His actions have caused unnecessary pain and suffering for my family and others. I have documented proof of his unprofessional conduct and plan to make it public in the near future to ensure that no one else falls victim to his deceptive practices. For the sake of your loved ones and your legal fight, avoid this attorney at all costs.

I hired Attorney Ali for a personal injury case back in 2012. From the beginning he assured my family and I were in the best hands as he and his staff dealt with our case in a timely manner. They made sure that it was going to be as stress free as possible and it indeed was just that! Accused of two armed robberies, an assault with a deadly weapon, and involvement in a street gang and facing 16-21years in prison, Mr. Ali's diligence and knowledge in our Justice system exonerated me from the said charges. All charges were dismissed and I owe it ALL to God bringing Mr. Ali as my attorney.
