Wendy Britt Fisher

Wendy B. Fisher is a partner at Reilly Pozner, focusing her practice on complex commercial litigation and appellate law. She serves as the managing attorney for a multi-million dollar federal racketeering case on behalf of 35 state life and health insurance guaranty associations, the National Organization of Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Associations, and a Texas receiver who brought a lawsuit involving an alleged scheme to defraud funeral homes and consumers across the nation into selling and purchasing pre-need funeral contracts. She has also been the managing attorney for a nearly decade-long case in both the federal and state courts that involved a claim for breach of contract against the owner of the Denver Broncos Football Club. In that case, Ms. Fisher successfully defended her clients before five courts, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit, the Colorado Court of Appeals, and the Colorado Supreme Court . Aside from her appellate and litigation work, Ms. Fisher has also had an active pro bono practice. She has worked with the Legal Center for People with Disabilities to help disabled school children gain access to special education services, the Colorado Lawyers Committee on a public school finance case, and various individuals in need of pro bono assistance. In 2011, Wendy was named one of Law Week Colorado's "Top Women Lawyers." She is also a member of her children’s school’s accountability committee, has served as a board member for their school, was president of a homeowners' association, and actively chairs multiple neighborhood committees. Prior to joining Reilly Pozner, Ms. Fisher served as a law clerk for the Honorable Rebecca Love Kourlis of the Colorado Supreme Court. She was also the Managing Editor for the University of Colorado Law Review.
