I had the pleasure of working alongside John during a high growth period at Vertafore. As SVP/Corporate Counsel, John took a pragmatic business first approach to contracts, vendor and employee relations. He could be counted on to look at situations from multiple angles and advise the executive team o...n potential outcomes and consequences of various actions. An excellent negotiator, John was always able to find middle workable solutions within even the toughest of complex situations. One of the things I always appreciated about working with John is that he could explain complex and arcane concepts clearly and simply.
