Virginia Leigh Price

She is an experienced transportation attorney who devotes her practice to service of the transportation industry.  She is a key member of the firm's Transportation and Litigation Practice Groups.  She primarily focuses her practice on representing the transportation industry in a variety of litigation matters including catastrophic loss claims, cargo liability, and employment liability.  She also counsels her clients on employment decisions, contract negotiation, and compliance with local, state and federal regulations.  Ms. Price also offers coverage advice and opinions to transportation insurers.

She instituted and adheres to a 24 hour rapid response protocol ensuring the Transportation Practice Group's availability to our clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for immediate response to accident and catastrophic loss scenes.  Ms. Price has also compiled a team of experts who are at the top of their respective fields, and are available to respond immediately to accident and catastrophic loss scenes. 

Ms. Price has substantial experience with all phases of transportation litigation involving a wide array of legal issues, including catastrophic personal injury defense, cargo liability, premises liability, product liability, employment claims, labor law, business litigation and contract claims.  She has defended members of the transportation industry up to and through trial, including arbitration, mediation and motion practice.  Virginia demonstrates a high success rate for her clients through trial and motion practice.

She is a frequent speaker on transportation legal topics and very involved with industry organizations both locally and nationally. 

Ms. Price had the honor of serving as a Shareholder of another well known San Diego firm.  There she founded and chaired that firm's Transportation Practice Group.  She developed that firm's 24 hour rapid response protocol, overseeing their transportation practice in all four offices throughout California.

Ms. Price hails from Waynesboro, Virginia, and graduated from Washington & Lee University School of Law.
