Biography
I'm a transactional attorney. I advise clients who are interested in forming a business or are seeking to enter into a partnership or joint venture with a family member, friend or business partner. I also represent and assist clients in commercial matters, such as those that require the drafting, review and negotiation of contracts, including lease agreements, purchase sale agreements, loan and financing agreements, security agreements, promissory notes, assignments of rents and leases and, as an additional example, franchise agreements. I also provide advice on landlord-tenant matters.
More than the type of law I practice however, is the philosophy which guides my practice of law. My approach is: (i) client-centered and (ii) goal-oriented. Clients (and service to clients) are the single greatest asset of the firm, its main purpose and the reason for its success. Zealous and dedicated representation are not merely aspirational goals; they are the principles underling my practice. I represent my clients and their interests with conviction and resolve.
The fact that my practice is transactional means that I don't need to be overly confrontational; in fact, I'm aware that both parties in a transaction seek a common goal - a "meeting of the minds." My focus is to facilitate a mutually beneficial outcome; a consummated transaction in which the parties have the opportunity to achieve their vision.
