As an immigrant myself, I know the importance of having an immigration attorney that is honest, trustworthy, and dedicated to your case.
I was born in Cd. Juarez, Mexico. When I was just four years old, my family made the difficult decision to leave their homes and seek opportunity here in Richmond, CA. For years, my parents worked hard to raise me and my three sisters here in the US.
When I was 16 years old, an attorney came to speak to my high school class about working in the legal field – and I was hooked. After my teacher told him that I was interested in becoming an attorney, the attorney came to chat with me about potentially becoming a file clerk for him. While I was excited at the opportunity – I politely declined.
Still, he persisted, until finally I told him what had been our family secret: I wasn’t legally allowed to work in the United States.
While I still wouldn’t be able to get an internship with that attorney – he did refer me and my family to an immigration attorney – who agreed to take our case.
Five years later – our case finally concluded, and my family and I were granted permanent residency. After working myself through college and law school, I eventually became a citizen myself. I then chose to become an immigration attorney myself, so that I could help fellow immigrants live and work in the US.
Because of my own experiences – I know the struggles, anxiety, and hardship that come with seeking legal status within the United States. That’s why I pride myself in being honest, compassionate, and dedicated to my clients.
As your attorney – you can count on me to not only provide you with competent and confidential legal service – but also to educated you on your options, as well as keep you informed of your case status.
