Valerie L. Smith focuses her practice on personal injury litigation. Prior to that Ms. Smith served as the law clerk for the Honorable James F. Russell in Division 2 or the Circuit Court of Shelby County. She then practiced as an Assistant District Attorney General prosecuting all types of criminal cases. During her tenure as a prosecutor, Ms. Smith was assigned to special units such as the West Tennessee Drug Task Force and the Gang & Narcotics Prosecution Unit.
