Professional, Helpful, and Personal Legal Expertise

About 7 years ago Mr. Copeland deftly and skillfully handled my divorce from a vicious harridan, at all times giving superb legal advice and defending my best interests. Because of his efforts, I received the best possible settlement. This year (March, 2016), due to my pending retirement from the m...ilitary, I had to revisit my settlement. Mr. Copeland, once again, was extremely helpful and amazingly proactive. He personally took my calls, responded to my emails, and quickly answered my questions, including providing me, at no charge, certified copies of all required documents. Mr. Copeland is a gentleman and a professional. I most strongly recommend him for anyone who requires expert legal assistance. V/R Kevin

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
