Kate Rosenberg represents clients in sports and entertainment law, mainly focusing on intellectual property and contracts. However, she acknowledges that sports and entertainment law can encompass a variety of legal issues in any field of law, and she is ready to assist her clients in any matter.
She attended law school at Texas A&M University, where she graduated with her J.D. and Intellectual Property Concentration in 2023. During law school, Kate made it her mission to put her law school on the map for future sports lawyers. Kate helped develop and expand the Sports and Entertainment Law Society at Texas A&M School of Law, hosting numerous symposiums, panels and events to not only provide educational resources, but networking opportunities for herself and her fellow Aggie law students. She also participated in the first-of-its-kind NIL and Athlete Representation Course, co-taught by Cincinnati Bengals Running Back Trayveon Williams (who is also an Aggie).
She spent a summer working in the Arkansas Razorback Athletic Department under the Associate General Counsel for Athletics, where she gained experience in contract drafting and review, NCAA compliance, Title IV issues, intellectual property, and Name, Image, and Likeness. As she completed her final year of law school, she became the Director of Name, Image, and Likeness at the University of Texas at Arlington, where she focused on educating college athletes, faculty, and local business leaders on the current state of NIL and Texas Law. She also helped develop future networking events for college athletes and potential sponsors, and hosted an NIL Open House for the community.
Kate also served as the Southeast Chair for the National Sports Legal and Business Society, and was a member of the Student Sports Law Network.
Prior to law school, Kate graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.A. in Political Science. While at Texas A&M, Kate was actively involved in leadership organizations, including Fish Camp and the Freshmen Leadership Development Retreat.
