Carol Renee Bell

Texas attorney Carol R. Bell is the founder and lead attorney at C. Bell Law, PLLC, a law practice serving individuals, families and small business owners throughout the greater Houston area, including Harris, Brazoria, Fort Bend, and Montgomery counties. 

Carol is a solo practitioner who focuses her practice in the areas of estate planning and administration (consisting of wills and trusts, probate and estate administration, guardianships and elder law), business law and family law. Carol is dually licensed as both an attorney and a certified public accountant (CPA). She has been licensed as an attorney for over 5 years and as a CPA for over 20 years. Carol has dedicated herself to providing zealous representation and outstanding customer service to her clients as she assists them through critical moments in their lives.

Carol graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and obtained her law degree from South Texas College of Law. While in law school, Carol represented low-income clients pro bono in guardianship, divorce, and social security matters via the South Texas College of Law General Civil Legal Clinic.

Before starting her law firm, Carol served as Corporate Counsel in Regulatory Compliance for a major international oil and gas company in Houston, TX. Prior to her legal career, she served in various capacities as an Operations Director, Senior Auditor, and Management Consultant for several major companies (including oil and gas, insurance, and real estate companies) in the Houston area.

Carol is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the State Bar of Texas’ Real Estate, Probate, and Trust Law section. She is also certified to serve as a mediator, as well as a guardian ad litem and attorney ad litem in guardianship matters within the Texas probate courts. Although born in Mississippi, Carol was mainly raised in Houston, TX and is proud to call Houston her home. She, her family and their pet (Izzy) currently reside in the Houston area. In her spare time, Carol enjoys traveling to new places and volunteering as a Junior Achievement teacher for young learners at her child’s school.
