Traci Dyshell Blake

I am a Southern Attorney who was born and raised in Central Florida. I relocated to New York City after law school to live the life I always imagined.

I practice Elder Law and Estate Planning. I have experience drafting Wills, Trusts, Institutional Medicaid applications, and Community Medicaid applications.  I am admitted to practice law in New York. I am a member of the Elder Law Section of the New York State Bar Association and the New York County Lawyer's Association.

I graduated from Stetson University College of Law where I participated in an Elder Law Concentration Program and worked as an Elder Law Fellow at the Law School’s Center for Excellence in Elder Law. While attending law school, I participated in many Pro Bono opportunities including volunteering at the local Area Agency on Aging and the Elder Law Consumer Protection Program located on the Stetson Law campus. Upon graduating from law school, I was awarded the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award for my commitment to public service.

Prior to attending law school, I earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from the University of Georgia. I also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and American Studies from Stetson University.

Since I relocated from Tampa Bay, Florida, I enjoy exploring the great adventures of New York City living. I mentor youth and volunteer with The Salvation Army in Harlem. I also love to read biographies, shop for shoes, and spend time with my family in Brooklyn.
