Tobin Douglas Wolfe

I hired and entered into a contract with Tobin Wolfe on January 11, 2017 to adopt 2 children. I attempted to stay in contact with him and did not recurve calls back or any updated informant. I contacted the court house today after the second office phone number was disconnected and was informed tha...t NO paperwork had been filed. It has been 10 months! I'm now talking with other attorneys to file a civil claim to obtain a full refund plus emotional distress this had caused myself and my 17 year old who desperately wants to be adopted and now believes I don't want her, just like her biological parents. This guy is a SCAM! I paid him quicker than agreed too. I'm a single working mother who lives pay check to paycheck and receives NO assistance or child support. I will also be filling a complaint with the Nebraska supreme court.

Possibly the worst attorney in the history of law. Complete waste of time and money. He talks a big talk with absolutely no follow through. He was employed by me for 3 weeks and replied to none of my texts or emails regarding my case even after HE asked me to contact him. Didn't get anything done f...or my case at all during the time he was my attorney and now I am going through the long process to try and get some of my retainer back. It has been over 2 months since I fired him and still have yet to receive a single bill showing what I am being charged for. I hired a new attorney and she had more done within 2 days than he did in 3 weeks. BY FAR. DO NOT hire this completely inept and incompetent excuse for an attorney unless you really want to lose your case and your money. Your better off representing yourself. That's the truth.

Do not hire this attorney. He will take your money and then do n-o-t-h-i-n-g. He doesn't respond to emails or phonecalls. We hired him in May 2017 and he didn't even file an Entry of Appearance which then caused a Progression Order hearing at which we didn't have representation. He took our $3,50...0 and we're still trying to get it back. In July 2017, I filed a complaint with the Counsel for Discipline. If you're a victim like us, be sure to file a claim with Small Claims Court and be sure to have him served by the Sheriff. It doesn't cost that much. You will be sorry if you hire this guy.
