Tim Daniel received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Arlington with a B.A. in political science and business. After college, Tim attended law school and received his J.D. from what is now Texas A&M University School of Law in Fort Worth. After law school, Tim clerked for the Honorable Justice Bob McCoy of the Second Court of Appeals in Fort Worth, providing briefing on both criminal and civil matters.
Tim is licensed in both Texas and New Mexico. Currently, he dedicates his expertise to family law litigation and is especially interested in contested and complicated divorce, divorce with business and debt interests, child custody matters, enforcement, and protective orders. He has worked exclusively in Travis, Williamson, Hays, and surrounding counties for years, litigating these types of family law cases. Previously, he has a broad range of experience that includes working as a lawyer for the Small Business Administration’s Office of Disaster Relief, providing low-interest loans to victims of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. For almost 10 years, he operated his own law office in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he practiced bankruptcy law, specializing in Chapter 7 liquidations and Chapter 13 reorganizations.
Tim is a native central Texan and graduated high school in Milam County. During the pandemic, he eagerly returned to central Texas to rejoin friends and extended family. In his off time, Tim enjoys exploring the hill country, cooking, grilling, riding his motorcycle, and collecting vinyl records. Tim recently adopted Lola, in his words, “the world’s cutest and most well-behaved mixed breed dog,” from a local animal shelter.
