Summer Lee Frederick

Summer is a senior attorney in Cooper & Scully’s Dallas office.  She focuses her practice in the areas of insurance coverage and extra-contractual litigation, and is knowledgeable concerning a wide variety of policy forms, including general liability, commercial auto, commercial property, personal lines, and professional liability. She is experienced with matters involving breach of contract, construction defects, disputes regarding coverage for additional insureds, issues related to primary and excess coverage, first-party property losses, and errors and omissions.  Summer has extensive industry experience.  She has been a licensed property/casualty insurance agent since 1996.  In addition, she served as an in-house coverage counsel to a wholesale brokerage, and completed a legal clerkship with the Texas Department of Insurance in 2007.
