Stephen Jerome Romeo

I have practiced law since 2007 with the mission to provide assistance to people who are most in need of legal assistance. I focus my practice in areas where clients are most in need of effective legal representation and are anxious about hiring and having a lawyer represent them. 

I am licensed to practice law in North Carolina and Pennsylvania, which is where I assist clients in Estate Planning, Elder Law and Litigation. I am also admitted to practice law before the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina, where I assist clients with Bankruptcy and Federal Litigation. I also have a nationwide practice in Immigration Law, Social Security Disability Law, and Veterans Law.

I am is a graduate of Villanova University and the Widener University School of Law, which I attended while working full-time as a paralegal. I am also a graduate of the U.S. Army Judge Advocate Officer Basic Course.

In addition to my civilian law practice, I serve as a Captain in the Army National Guard as a Judge Advocate (military attorney). I am also a veteran who served with the U.S. Army in 2013 in Kandahar, Afghanistan as a Judge Advocate for the 15th Sustainment Brigade.

I live in a suburb of Charlotte, NC with my wife, Lenka. I am a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion, National Rifle Association and the Knights of Columbus. When I am is not practicing law, I enjoy playing guitar, running, weight lifting, reading history and learning languages.
