Mr. Massie took on my case several months back stating he had previous cases similar to mine. My case is a family law, very serious case. My visa was compromised so I had to request a new one. My payment failed to go through since it was in auto payment and instead of contacting me about it, he decid...ed to no longer represent me, after I had contacted him, with no response, to have my payment go through a day late! He never told me he wasn’t representing me until I sent him a text stating that my children were in danger. He violated many rules on professional conduct, knowingly putting my family in immediate danger, without adequate notice he wasn’t representing me any longer or time to get other representation. My case was a very serious case which he knew from the beginning. He never fought for my family, he sent a handful of emails and when he saw that it wasn’t that easy, he no longer wanted to represent me and instead wanted an out so used a day late payment as the excuse. I text him on October 10th inquiring about my case and never heard anything back until the day I text him stating my kids were in danger, which was Nov 5th. His response was he was no longer representing me due to payment, however, per our agreed and signed contract, my payment would have only been a day late, failing to contact me back to get the payment. Payment was due monthly (no specific day), I contacted him Nov 1st to make the October payment. Mr. Massie didn’t contact me back to get it and never once text me about my card which was a simple mistake and oversight. Had he contacted me to tell me about the card failing, I would have found a way to make the payment another way at that very moment. I would never hire or even suggest anyone to hire Mr. Massie for representation.
