Biography
Shawn Gillum has protected and vindicated the rights of those accused of first degree murder, felony forgery and theft, sex assault, possession and distribution of controlled substances, D.U.I., and all domestic violence crimes. Mr. Gillum also provides representation prior to the filing of criminal charges during a law enforcement investigation or a grand jury proceeding. Often, he has successfully avoided the filing of charges or influenced the filing of lesser charges.
Mr. Gillum argued a landmark case before the Colorado Supreme Court and has been featured on behalf of clients in the Denver Post, Rocky Mountain News, Outside Magazine, Fox 31 and the Denver Business Journal. Shawn Gillum's successful representation of pharmacists accused of violating state rules has allowed them to continue working in their chosen professions. He previously served as a Deputy District Attorney in Jefferson County and as an Associate Attorney at Isaacson Rosenbaum P.C. in Denver.
