In working with attorney Brookman there where many beneficial aspects I did not initial expect from working with a lawyer. With many lawyers, it can be quite transactional, you have a specific need the lawyer addresses it and your done with a feeling that everything happened real fast and not totally... sure what you paid for but glad you can get back to business. He was different in that he broke things down into real person language sparing me the jargon and assisting in some business decisions that have real world implications. Owning a small business I want to be assured I am making the best decisions for my business and my specific situation is understood. Knowing that he has also worked in banking and has a business degree was very comforting I felt like he could bride the needs of my business and the legal world expertly and I felt better prepared for the future. Although my areas of need have been more business /contracts /lease Agreements LLC formation here in Connecticut , I would not hesitate to hire him for Estate Planning/Wills as well.
