Multiple charges that occurred in a "single criminal incident" count as one crime. It also sounds like you were actually charge with but one crime.

If you are looking to sponsor your Mother for residency, you should sponsor her and use your Husband as the financial co-sponsor.
Divorce before First Green card Interview, what can happen? deport? drivers licence? can I still attend interview alone?

If you get divorced, you will not be eligible for residency through your ex-wife.
