About Scott
Biography
Scott graduated from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, and taught high school before deciding to move to Texas to pursue his dream of becoming an attorney. In May of 2014, Scott received his Juris Doctorate degree from South Texas College of Law where he focused his studies on complex civil litigation, dispute resolution and commercial law. In addition to his legal studies, Scott participated on his law school’s arbitration and mediation teams, highlighted by his team’s 1st overall placement in the INADR International Mediation Tournament.
As an active member in the legal community, he regularly participates as a negotiation and mediation coach at his former law school, and is currently publishing legal works on various civil and commercial law topics. Scott has performed over 200 hours of pro bono legal services at the Randal O. Sorrels Legal clinic for less fortunate individuals in the Houston area who could not afford legal services.
