Poor Experience

I hired Mr. Fisher as my attorney on 9/1/17 to help with a custody case for my son, which then turned in to a termination case. The outcome of my case ended the way I wanted it to, but Mr. Fisher was little to no help along the way. There were weeks and months that would pass that I did not hear fro...m him, even after calling, leaving voicemails, texts, and emailing him several times. When I finally would get a response, he was extremely dismissive. He went so far as to tell me to "relax". A week before our first hearing was set, I tried multiple times a day to reach out to him so that I could understand what to expect. He did not contact me until the night before, which was a Sunday night, to inform me that it had been postponed. After that, I requested my statements multiple times, and was told he would get them to me several times, but every time I never received them. His excuse was that he was busy with work, as if I had not already paid him, or I was not his work. When the hearing came, after it had been postponed, Mr. Fisher did not even show up for my hearing. I was waiting at the court house, and the judge had to call Mr. Fisher and the judge had to make an exception and allow him to appear by phone. I'm not sure if he forgot, or just didn't care to show his face. He did email me 5 minutes after the hearing was set to start letting me know he had requested to postpone the hearing again. Even though the judge informed me that she had not received any notice from him. I was completely unprepared for the hearing, but it did go my way, which I was thankful for. After the hearing, I was told that Mr. Fisher had started a new job and was leaving his own practice, which leads me to believe that he is/was letting his cases fall to the wayside. I really can't express enough my frustration, disappointment, and anger at Mr. Fisher's actions and behavior. He had no care for my well being, my son's well being, or my case. This caused me a great deal of stress and anxiety over the last six months.

Excellent Lawyer and a Honest Genuine Person

Scott represented my two young children in I in a divorce/child custody case. He not only listened to me with everything single thing I wanted to say but he showed compassion, he wasn't just worried about getting money. He TRULY cared about me and my children. He is very knowledgeable and honest abou...t the law and your case. His fees are very reasonable and he works with you. Scott is a wonderful man and deserves a 10 star rating. I cannot thank him enough for being there for the children and I during a difficult time. You will not be upset if you hire Scott, he is fantastic and worth every penny! Thank you Scott!
