I started my journey to becoming an immigration attorney long before I graduated law school. As an undergraduate, I lived and went to school in France. It was there that I met my husband. When I was in my second year in law school, I applied for a k1 fiance visa for him. We were married in 2002. That experience is what led me to become an immigration attorney. I have personally been through every part of the process from the K-1 application through citizenship with my husband and have helped hundreds of other couples through the process as well.
The Law Office of Sarah M. Cross is a small specialty firm. We are not a visa factory churning out thousands of visas a year. I actually know all of my clients names, their children's names, and their stories without having a folder sitting in front of me. I strive to make the experience as simple and stress free as it can be. Many of my clients tell me that they think of me as a part of thier family and that is the atmosphere that we hope to keep now and forever.
