Divorce Finalized!

Sakeena was highly recommended to me from a business attorney I had previously worked with. I handed Sakeena a million details I didn’t understand about my divorce, which had been dragged out for well over a year. Within just a few quick chats, she understood what needed to be done & did what I could...n’t do on my own. She even offered to sort out the little details like changing my last name. Her expertise, demeanor, & patience was exactly what I needed during this experience. Communication was a breeze & I didn’t feel like I was charged for simple questions, which is a common experience with divorce lawyers.

"Sakeena and I were law school classmates and, more recently, she was opposing counsel in a divorce matter I had in Fairfax County. She is dedicated to her clients' interests and is a fierce advocate."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
