I paid a retainer to Pacific Cascade to handle my divorce, and I was transferred to Sabrina Owen to handle my case. She failed to provide me with information pertaining to my rights of home ownership and private use of the home during the separation and divorce proceedings. She was very disrespectful... in communicating with me, and she consistently ignored my concerns related to the divorce proceedings. She would tell me one thing and then directly contradict herself later. This occurred regarding the child support for my son, the cost of filing/fees, and regarding multiple communications with the opposing counsel. I even felt coerced/threatened into signing checks over to my ex-husband despite my concerns with how the money should be handled. She also failed to make sure legal disclosure was made and got irritated/disrespectful with me when I pointed it out to her. When I tried to contact the supervisor at the firm regarding my concerns regarding this attorney, my case was dismissed supposedly due to the fact that I stated I was at the point of filing an official complaint if they were not willing to address those concerns internally with professionalism. I would not recommend either this attorney or the firm of Pacific Cascade if you want your best interests or that of your children considered important.
