Ruth graduated from Harvard Law School in 2012. She then clerked for the Hon. Richard Suhrheinrich of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit from 2012 to 2013. During law school, she worked for the law firms Sullivan & Cromwell and Nicoll Black & Feig, as well as for two federal district court judges.
A prolific and proficient writer, Ruth was awarded the 2012 Irving Oberman Writing Award when she was only 23 years old. By that time, her articles had been published in the Miami Law Review, Marquette Elder's Advisor Law Review, Barry Law Review, Harvard Business Law Review, and the Review of Banking and Financial Law. During law school, she was awarded paid student fellowships with the Olin Center for Law, Economic & Business, as well as with the Project on the Foundations of Private Law.
Ruth graduated magna cum laude with honors from the University of Washington with degrees in mathematics and political science. There, she enjoyed serving as the Vice President of the University of Washington Math Club and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
As a child, Ruth enjoyed creative writing, published an award-winning short story in the Seattle Times, played the violin and piano, and skipped two consecutive grades in school.
Today, Ruth's unique educational trajectory, writing background, tireless diligence, and passion for creativity has equipped and enhanced her role as a lawyer and confidante, ensuring optimal advocacy in any situation.
