I've been divorced for about 4 years and as these things go I had to go back to court to change the custody agreement and parenting schedule with my ex. regarding my daughter. I have shared physical custody of my daughter a problem developed around one parent not living up to the initial agreement. T...here was no right or wrong, it's just each parents strengths were not taken advantage of and our daughter suffered as a result. During the initial divorce and the first modification I acted as my own attorney to save money. That was a mistake. Beside getting what I paid for, the shear anxiety and headache of navigating the legal waters left me exhausted not to mention I got less than ideal agreement that would eventually break down. So when the s.h.t.f. again and I had to go back to court to modify the custody agreement and parenting schedule I was loathe to do the heavy lifting myself. I looked for a lawyer as soon as possible and through the grace of God I got Russell. He was awesome. He's sharp as a tack and took all the pressure off of me. He was always thinking like 3 moves ahead and made everything look easy. He was easy to talk to and always listened to me even when I was losing my cool half way through which was good because let's face it going through divorce and child custody modifications etc. is no fun. It's very easy to lose sight of the big picture. Fortunately keeping his eye on the prize and keeping everything is focus is where Russell seems to shine. So I'd highly recommend Russell. In fact I can't think of anything that he missed and in fact I got stuff I wasn't even looking for in the beginning. Having just finished the court case I hired him for that is a relief and gives me the peace of mind I need to get things back to normal.
