Exceptional Guidance through a Difficult Time

I consulted Ms. Painter several years ago when my daughter faced sexual harassment at her school by a staff member, and I cannot say enough about the incredible support she provided. Ms. Painter was kind, knowledgeable, and compassionate, and she took the time to hear my experience and explain what p...rotections my daughter was due under Title IX. As the matter evolved and we went through the complaint process with the school, Ms. Painter was with me at each step. Her guidance was invaluable—she helped me be a stronger, more informed advocate for my daughter. I would wholeheartedly recommend Ms. Painter’s services to anyone who needs help ensuring their children are being treated fairly at school. She truly makes a difference!

Amazing help advocating for school services!

We reached out to Robyn when we were trying to navigate additional school-based services for our son who was struggling and, honestly, didn’t really even know where to begin. She couldn’t have been more helpful! In a very concrete, practical way, she clearly walked us through the services to which he... was entitled and laid out the steps we could take, alongside the legal timelines for expecting a response from the school and district. By the time we went in to meet with the school, I felt totally prepared and well armed with the information she had given us. With her truly special combination of empathy, deep knowledge of the relevant law, and years of practical experience, we cannot recommend her enough to any family trying to advocate for their loved ones.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
