Robert J. Vitale

Truly a gifted attorney who runs a very well organized practice. His secretary has been on top of every little thing and Mr. Vitale has no fear of trial or being as aggressive as you need to get as much of what you want as possible. He has been a God send during my divorce and child custody and chi...ld support issues. He is reasonable about billing practices and VERY honest. My ex-husband has gone through several attorneys who have been in some cases more expensive than Mr. Vitale and in all cases much worse lawyers than Mr. Vitale!

First, I have to say there are not enough words to express what Mr. Vitale and his firm did for not just myself but, for my children. Both He and his staff are heaven sent, in my and my children's eyes. I consulted with Vitale and associates in late 2017 regarding my child custody case, this was an... out of state case brought to MI and had already been litigated on for almost 3 years. 3 years of motions, in and out of courtrooms, being lied to by counsel, you name it, it probably had gone wrong in my case up until that point. Mr. Vitale could have easily felt like it was a lot to jump into, especially with no prior knowledge of the 3 year case. Instead, Mr. Vitale didn't hesitate to jump in and begin unraveling the knot my case had become. Hired Bob for a divorce. Yes I'm in jail right now, but geesh. I lost 100% of everything! My house, 2 cars, stuff I owned before I was married, gifts she gave me for Christmas, everything! (Except my clothes) I have 0% of any contact with my daughter not even sure if she is my daughter. Bob wouldn...'t file for a dna test. Terrible lawyer, kept giving "good" excuses as to why everything was taken from me, but seemed to forget that she had been cheating on me from day 1 of our marriage.

I hired Bob to represent me when I was falsely accused of a domestic assault against my wife. Bob, along with his assistant Maggie, were extremely personable and always answered my questions in a timely manner. Bob cared about my well-being and always asked how my kids were doing. Bob stuck with m...e throughout the nine month process and he rocked it when we went to trial. The jury deliberated for about 20 minutes and came back with a not guilty verdict. Afterwards, I witnessed two jury members track Bob down and tell him what a great job he did. Bob believed in me! I am so thankful for him and Maggie.

I hired him because he was refered to me by another attorney who could not take the case. I hired him to file a motion to get me my drivers license back after a 2nd DUI, after being denied at a drivers license appeal hearing. He charged me $1,500 for this motion. He told me there was no guarant...ee, but assured me he was very good at these types of cases. I paid him, and he told me he would let me know when motion day was. Several weeks went by and I heard nothing. I called and he told me I needed to come in and meet with him. I went in and we accomplished nothing. He asked me the same questions he did the first time we met. Several more weeks went by, and he told me he was waiting on a date. Finally after 5 months I called the oakland county courthouse on my own to find out what the delay was. They told me that motion day was Wednesday, and that if my attorney filed this week, I would be in court in 2 weeks. I called his assistant Cathy, and was very upset. By this time it had been 5 months and he told me I could just wait 6 more months until my new DLAD Hearing. I explained to him that was not what we agreed to, and that he better file the motion. 2 weeks later we where in court. The Secretary of State had representation there. They called my case, and Bob told them that the Secretary of State had done nothing wrong, and I just need my license so I could work, and provide for my family. The Jude explained to him what a motion was, and that he was there to argue that the Secretary of State had made a mistake, that's why he filed a motion. MOTION DENIED. I was so embarrassed. This guy didn't argue you anything. He didn't even know he was supposed to which is the worst part. He is not a good attorney, or a good human. He gives attorneys a bad name.
