Robert Anthony Velez - Montes

I recently hired Robert Velez to handle what should have been a relatively straightforward matter: forming an LLC. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. After payment was sent, the process took months. Throughout that time, I repeatedly had to reach out for updates and often re...ceived no response. When I finally did receive a response approximately a month after payment, I was told that the LLC had not even been filed because additional information was needed from me, including something as basic as my email address. I was never previously contacted or informed that this information was missing. After months of repeatedly following up, I finally received the completed documents today, only to discover a serious error: an employee of mine had been listed as a part owner of the LLC. I never instructed or authorized this person to be included as an owner. This was also not my first negative experience. Robert previously represented us in a real estate matter that went to court, and I was extremely dissatisfied with the legal advice and guidance we received. Based on my personal experiences, I would not recommend Robert Velez for legal advice, document preparation, business formation, or representation. The lack of communication, lengthy delays, and significant errors in relatively straightforward matters have caused me to lose confidence in his ability to handle legal work competently and reliably. I work alongside an attorney and have interacted professionally with many attorneys over the years, and I have never personally encountered this level of inconsistency and carelessness. My experience with Robert Velez has been extremely concerning, and I believe the issues I encountered warrant serious scrutiny.
