For more than 20 years, my role as an attorney has focused primarily on Family Law - child custody & visitation, divorce & property division, spousal & child support, grandparent rights, guardianships, and domestic abuse.

Family Law is unlike most other areas of law. The issues are often contentious, always emotional, require delicate but relentless attention, and result in long-lasting consequences.

For me it’s a privilege, and the highest responsibility, to work on behalf of someone going through the most difficult events in their lives. Considering what’s at stake I strive every day to earn the trust and confidence of my clients. This commitment to prioritize client service is a philosophy and belief shared among my colleagues here at the Cardenas Law Firm. The most efficient and effective Family Law attorneys are those who minimize conflict, anticipate problems, and find creative methods and solutions to achieve the goals of their client.

My law degree is from Temple University School of Law, with a curriculum concentration in trial advocacy. Temple Law’s trial advocacy programs are ranked number one among the nation’s 187 law schools by U.S. News & World Report.
