We should have known when blank documents were signed in a fast food restaurant that things would not go well. Started off great, then turned sour. He wanted me to commit perjury at a deposition, when I didn't he said he would call next week, that was 4 years ago. I was not at all prepared for depo...sition and he never interveined, only to kick my legs under the table. Deposition took 3 1/2 hours...he said it would take about 1and was angry because he was missing a dinner date. It would cost us no money and he would get 30% in the end, then a year later asked for a retainer of $7500.00. He did not bother to attend the court of appeals hearing nor notify us that it was occurring,we read about our case in the local paper. We lost...no one even heard our side. The last bit he didn't submit paperwork in a timely manner and so it was dismissed!
