Rita Campbell Dixon

Rita C. Dixon is a native of Tullahoma, Tennessee. She graduated from college with honors from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Bachelor of Arts in 2002. She majored in Legal Studies and was a University Honors Scholar and African American Achiever. Mrs. Dixon attended Texas Southern University-Thurgood Marshall School of Law and graduated cum laude earning her Juris Doctor in 2006. While in law school, she was a Senior Editor for the Thurgood Marshall Law Review and a member of the James M. Douglas Board of Advocates. In the summer of 2005, Mrs. Dixon was a law clerk at the Office of Attorney General, State of Tennessee in Nashville, TN. She worked in the Health Care Division and Real Property Division. Mrs. Dixon was a litigation attorney at Legal Aid of Northwest Texas for 6 years before branching out on her own. She primarily handled domestic violence family law cases and child custody cases involving abuse or neglect. She also handled adoptions, landlord/tenant disputes, consumer cases, wills and estates and real property issues. Mrs. Dixon currently lives in Frisco, Texas where she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son. She felt led to open a Christian law practice believing that passionate advocacy can be achieved without sacrificing  moral standards.  Mrs. Dixon is licensed to practice law in Texas.
