PERSONAL INFORMATION
Richard Winkie is the son of a career Army serviceman, and spent his early years in or around military bases in New Mexico, Texas, the Marshall Islands and West Germany. He graduated from a rural north-central Missouri high school with a graduating class of only 21 students. At 6 foot, 6 inches, he was an automatic starter for his school’s basketball team. Following graduation, he spent fourteen years living in and around Columbia, Missouri, attending the University of Missouri-Columbia and working for the University of Missouri Health Care system. He is married to his Administrative Assistant, Annika and you will see their three year old “Office Manager” Arianna running the office with a “binkie” in one hand and her Daddy wrapped around the other.
