I have an estate law question. If I leave everything in my will to a freind, Can a sibling contest the will.

By leaving each family member a nominal sum in the will they cannot claim to have been omitted by oversight. Please consider discussing this...

Texas law provides that the estate pay attorney fees for the expense of defending the will. So ask for attrney fees from the court.

The cousin possibly has some reimbursement expense coming to him if you are willing to pay it but he is otherwise owed nothing by the estate.
