I hired him and then he handed me off to another attorney. He told me when he handed me off that he performed administrative duties and the other attorney was the litigator. I should have known better and run for the exit. Boy was I taken for a ride. I had three issues. The first one the lawyers... litigated in court and lost. However, in the sworn affidavit from the other party my issue was addressed. The second issue with the town, they sent a letter to the town attorney and the issue was resolved. The third issue, his advice was to "try to get along with the neighbor." This issue has not been resolved. If I could have resolved the issue with the neighbor I would not have needed a lawyer!! Now many months later I cannot get an itemized bill from him.
