I do not accept clients because I do not practice law.  My Avvo profile is not searchable, I have no Avvo rating, and I should not turn up in attorney search results on Avvo.  I do not consent, and have never consented to Avvo’s use of my identity, likeness, or professional reputation for any purposes whatsoever, and specifically not for purposes of marketing or advertisement on or any other website.

I have requested that Avvo close my account and permanently remove my profile from this website to help prevent potential client confusion and waste of time.  Unfortunately, Avvo will not under any circumstances remove or delete any attorney profile from the website regardless of the attorney’s practice status in any jurisdiction.  All civil lawsuits to date brought by attorneys like me (i.e. those who wish to maintain exclusive control over their own professional identities) have failed to produce results to compel to remove such profiles upon request.

Perhaps someday within the United States scraper sites like (a.k.a "MH Sub I, LLC dba Internet Brands") will face increased privacy and trade practices regulation to prevent the scraping and misuse of legitimate information from public records that were never intended for nonconsensual, commercial disclosure.
